When a host goes down I would like to receive just one alert, not an alert for every service as well. I understand this can be done by configuring Service Dependencies for each of the services.
Does anyone know if there is an easy way to do this in nagiosql without creating a Service Dependency for every single service? Generally I create a single Service definition and assign multiple hosts to it.

If there is an easy way in nagios - this can be done in nagiosQL as well. NagiosQL has no additional improvements for configuration options than nagios has.
